Job Description
Maintenance Manager Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Maintenance Manager for our client's operation near Martinsburg, WV. This is a direct hire position with competitive salary and benefits. 130
K BOE Responsibilities:
Oversee all maintenance operations for extrusion lines, processing, recycling systems, and thermoforming machines. Ensure maximum equipment uptime through effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues. Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with 24/7 operations. Lead, coach and develop a maintenance team consisting of Maintenance Technicians, Mold Technicians, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician. Establish clear expectations, schedules, and performance standards for the maintenance team. Support on-call and off-shift coverage to ensure continuous operations. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Actively participate in startup operations, equipment installations, line expansions, and capacity increases. Support commissioning, debugging, and ramp-up of new equipment and processes. Help build and standardize maintenance system, documentation, spare parts programs, and work order processes suitable for a growing operation. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and equipment histories.
Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree preferred or extensive hands-on maintenance leadership experience Experience with extrusion processes and thermoforming equipment preferred Strong communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Bilingual is a plus
