Job Description

Our client is seeking a Meter Reader to read and record water meter readings on an assigned route, while also performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on water meters and lines.
Pay:
$16.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Read water meters on an assigned route and record readingsReport meter skips or meters unable to be readVisually inspect meters for proper function and report defective unitsRepair leaks and broken water linesExplain and interpret unusual readings to customersTurn water meters on and off; install or assist with meter and meter box installationPerform other related work as directed
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GEDValid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
