The Closure Agent documents and records all information from posted meter closures throughout the City of Chicago.Principal Job Duties:
Photograph City signs which close a metered parking spaces. Record information from City signs to determine the length and time of a closure. Complete a Closure form documenting all Closures discovered throughout the city. Verify permits provided by the city are compliant with the number of spaces obstructed. Measure in linear feet how much parking is affected by the closure or obstruction. Report any issues found as field discoveries to Central dispatch. Follow all LAZ Parking procedures for field operations. Other related duties as assigned.Requirements:
Education High school diploma or GED required. Experience Experience in General Labor. General knowledge of City of Chicago streets.Skills:
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness. Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement. Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.Physical Demands:
Willingness to work in the elements- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
