This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, driving throughout the day, and working outdoors while also interacting professionally with customers. This is primarily a driving position with minimal walking. A company vehicle and all necessary equipment are provided . Responsibilities Drive an assigned route to collect utility meter readings using company-provided equipment. Perform scheduled inside residential and commercial meter safety inspections as assigned. Safely enter customer properties while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Record meter readings and inspection information accurately using handheld or mobile devices. Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or potential gas or meter-related hazards. Follow all company safety procedures and customer service standards. Safely operate a company vehicle in urban, suburban, and rural service areas. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment DOT drug screening. Comfortable working independently and outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to enter residential and commercial properties and interact professionally with customers. Strong attention to detail and basic computer or mobile device skills. Reliable attendance and excellent time management. Previous utility, field service, inspection, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
