JOB SUMMARY
The Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual for the position of: Crew Leader -
Meters Hiring Range:
$51,882.61 - $59,665.00 Retirement Benefits (TMRS), 2-to-1 Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Effective Within the First 35 days of

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in water meter reading, maintenance, installation, and repair experience.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Possession of a Class C Water Distribution license.
The Crew Leader, Meters leads assigned staff in the installation, replacement, programming, and maintenance of residential and commercial water meters and meter transmitting units (MTUs). The position ensures timely completion of work orders, accurate meter reads for billing, repair of meter components, and inventory control of supplies to support reliable water service delivery.
