PSE's Customer Operations team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Customer Field Representative I position! Specific details regarding the work arrangements for this position will be discussed in further detail during the interview process. Job Description This is not a pathway to apprenticeship position, this posting is for a permanent Customer Field Rep. The shift for this position is Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. This job is under federal regulation by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and is subject to pre-employment and random drug screenings that include screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites. As a vital link between the company and its customers, you'll travel throughout our service territory, helping resolve account matters, ensuring accurate service records, and safeguarding the integrity of our energy systems. Job Responsibilities The position is responsible for providing "on premise" customer assistance throughout PSE service area and performing other duties in the position summary. Examples of responsibilities include advising customers of a need to sign for service, gathering reads from the meter, discussing past due balances with customers, reporting potential rate discrepancies, reporting theft situations including tampering and energy diversion, and dealing with customer service disconnects and reconnects. Perform collection task Disconnect single phase self-contained meters Reconnect single phase self-contained meters Work with customers throughout PSE service areas to obtain meter check reads, meter verifications, and resolve access problems Perform similar and incidental duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Previous minimum education and training should include a high school diploma or GED. Must include possession of a valid Washington State driver's license. One (1) year customer field technician, maintenance, utility construction labor, or warehouse experience within the most recent three (3) years. Previous on the job professional driving experience desired. Additional Information
