Job Description
Industrial Mechanic/Millwright I-Corp Arizona Kingman, AZ 86401 Posted about 9 hours New Seeking a motivated and skilled Industrial Mechanic / Millwright to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems that keep our operations running smoothly. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our production equipment and infrastructure.
Duties:
- Install, align, and assemble machinery and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery, hydraulic systems, and electrical components to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts including gears, bearings, belts, motors, pumps, and hydraulic components.
- Operate various field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks.
- Assist with electrical troubleshooting involving low voltage and high voltage systems; apply knowledge of industrial electrician practices where applicable.
- Support safety initiatives by adhering to lockout/tagout procedures and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards related to industrial maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally during maintenance activities. Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience operating precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Strong electrical experience covering low voltage control circuits up to high voltage power systems; capable of using multimeters safely in field service settings.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial electrician work and mechanical repairs in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Experience working with schematics and technical diagrams to guide repairs or installations effectively.
