+ Benefits Work-truck upfitting shop in Phoenix needs a Welder/Install Tech who can weld and install equipment on service bodies, flatbeds, and dump bodies. This is hands-on work installing real jobsite gear—lighting, liftgates, racks, storage, and more—so trucks leave the shop work ready. What this job looks like MIG weld brackets, mounts, and components used in truck builds Install and secure lighting and handle 12-volt wiring Install liftgates, ladder racks, storage equipment, and other work-truck add-ons Assist with installs like hydraulic cranes and air compressors (depending on the build) Use hand and power tools to fit, mount, and finish equipment on trucks and trailers Read diagrams/prints and follow build instructions Keep your area clean, safe, and production-ready Work with the crew to keep projects moving What matters most 3+ years hands-on welding + fabrication + install experience in the automotive industry 3+ years experience with 12V wiring / lighting installs Solid with shop tools and fast-paced work Able to read basic install diagrams and instructions Reliable transportation + valid driver's license Good communication and team mindset Pay & benefits $28
