- Performs various simple fabrication, process, and assembly operation in production of low and high temperature insulation forms, blankets, and related products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Ability to perform high temperature thermal insulation fabrication. Assembly operation in cutting metal foil and fiberglass insulation to size. Hand forming such skins, making cut-outs, or punching holes, assembling of matched foil skins and insulation layer. Hooking and folding edges, fabricating stiffeners, and identification tags. Cutting patches. Tack welding seams, and spot welding of skins, stiffeners and patches. Follow all Senior policies and procedure. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the above, Insulators are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices. High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or 1- 2 years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.Tools used:
Light hand tools such as scissors, knives, snips, hand crimpers, rollers, mallets, ball peens, pinching pilers, paint brushes, screw drivers, rulers, scale, templates, and patterns.Equipment used:
Motors, ovens, freezers, forming molds, vacuum pumps and any other equipment as deemed necessary by the supervisor.Materials used:
Rubber fiberglass stock, fiberglass stock, rubber- based paints, catalysts, solvents, adhesives, abrasives, plastic tape, and fiberglass insulation. Additional Information Annual Target Salary = $43,680.00 Monday
