Position:

The Blue Mountain Millwright Apprentice will be part of the Maintenance Department team and report to the Maintenance Department Manager, providing Maintenance support throughout the Columbia mine site. The site includes production facilities and warehouse and office operations. Post-offer drug, alcohol, hearing, and lift evaluation testing will be required. What You'll Do Work as a team with the entire Maintenance department, the Millwright Apprentice performs general maintenance duties and preventive maintenance, including lubrication. Work on Maintenance projects throughout the facility. Perform minor equipment repairs and similar duties. Equipment can consist of lubrication lines and fittings, removal and re-installation of guards, and maintenance of the oil storage room, including housekeeping, labeling and waste removal. Display positive attitude and practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company. Complete tasks in timely manner and provide feedback. REQUIRED

Strong organizational skills and the ability to retain and follow instructions. Ability to walk and climb for extended periods throughout the shift. Experienced in using hand tools. Knowledge and ability to identify workplace hazards and follow proper safety procedures. Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal. Ability to work at high elevations up to 140 ft. Experience and qualifications

PREFERRED

Previous experience with mechanical lubrication duties. This position is full-time shift work. However, normal work schedule is day shift. Must be available to work overtime, which could include occasional weekends, nights, and holidays. Wage commensurate with experience.
