Module Repair and Refurbishment Technician Job Description We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team in repairing and refurbishing modules primarily used in school and business office settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of urgency, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently. The work schedule is from 6am to 2:30pm, with potential summer hours starting at 5am. Flexibility in hours and tasks is required. Responsibilities Utilize hand and power tools to perform repairs and refurbishments. Maintain cleanliness in the shop and trailers, including cleaning floors, walls, counters, and more. Assist in training and supporting the service team and refurbishment efforts. Inspect electrical systems for basic wiring needs. Check, scrape, and seal roofs as necessary. Clean windows, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and doors. Perform carpentry repairs on floors, walls, roofing, siding, windows, and fixtures. Maintain clean working areas both inside and outside, including lawn and parking lot. Conduct regular inventory checks and place orders as needed. Participate in regular safety meetings with a safety-first mentality. Essential Skills Experience in carpentry and framing. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Basic knowledge in electrical systems. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of computer systems. Capability to lift up to 50lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Plumbing and welding skills are a plus. Ability to operate a floor buffer. Minor HVAC experience is beneficial. Possession of own basic hand tools such as hammer, screwdrivers, wrench set, and tape measure. Why Work Here? Some tasks will occur inside trailers, which may not have air conditioning. The dress code includes steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt; safety glasses and gloves are provided by the company. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
