— $18.50+/HOUR John Hunter Acoustics is hiring a full-time Manufacturing and Installation Technician. Our greatest need is currently on our manufacturing team. Depending on your skills and our company's needs, you may work primarily in manufacturing or divide your time between manufacturing, deliveries, and customer installations. Applicants must be flexible and willing to assist wherever they're most needed. This is a full-time position only. Because our work is highly specialized and requires extensive hands-on training, we're looking for someone who wants stable, long-term employment and an opportunity to grow with our company.
LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
Our workshop is located in South Los Angeles near Inglewood Regular working hours are generally 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Overtime opportunities are available You must have reliable transportation to and from our workshop All tools and equipment required for the job will be provided
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manufacturing responsibilities may include:
Measuring and cutting boards accurately for framing Manufacturing and assembling acoustic panels and bass traps Safely operating saws, drills, hammers, and other common tools Preparing, organizing, and loading completed products Maintaining speed, accuracy, quality, and organization on our manufacturing line Delivery and installation responsibilities may include: Picking up, loading, and delivering completed products Driving company vehicles to customer locations Installing acoustic panels, bass traps, ceiling clouds, and other treatments Working professionally and respectfully inside customers' homes, studios, and businesses Assisting our manufacturing and installation teams wherever needed
REQUIREMENTS
Experience using saws, drills, hammers, and other tools Strong measuring skills, including accurately reading measurements in inches Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete all required payroll and employment documentation. Legally authorized to work in the United States Available for full-time work beginning at 6:00 a.m. Reliable transportation to and from our South Los Angeles workshop Flexible and willing to work in manufacturing, delivery, or installation as needed Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Interested in stable, long-term employment and learning specialized skills

PAY AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
All new employees begin at a training rate of $18.50 per hour for the initial two-week training and evaluation period. At the end of the first two weeks, we'll meet with you to review your performance, reliability, speed, quality of work, tool skills, flexibility, and overall contribution to the business. Based on that evaluation, we'll determine whether a pay increase is appropriate and what your new rate will be.
