Job Description

Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic II in Oxnard, CA! As a Maintenance Mechanic II you will: Job Description and Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding heavy industrial manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Support production operations by ensuring machinery and equipment remain safe, reliable, and operational. Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, repair, and rebuild industrial manufacturing equipment including punch presses, press brakes, CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and cranes.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair 110V to 480V AC electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase circuits.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and improve machine reliability.
  • Disassemble machinery, replace defective components, fabricate minor replacement parts, and make operational adjustments.
  • Start up, shut down, restart, and test industrial equipment to verify repairs and performance.
  • Follow OSHA regulations, electrical safety requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Lubricate, clean, and maintain machine components to ensure efficient operation. This is a full-time opportunity. Required Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Knowledge of 110V to 480V AC electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong initiative. Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working on Soco, Amada, Haas, CNC, milling, lathe, and punch press machines.
  • Experience maintaining facility systems and equipment.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts. Overtime available as needed, including up to 2 additional hours per day and occasional Saturdays (typically up to 4 hours).
Pay Rate:
$37.00 - $40.00 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
