Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Millwright/Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise in welding, mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting will ensure smooth operations and uphold safety standards across our operations. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations on various mechanical and electrical equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Conduct welding tasks such as stick welding to repair or fabricate metal components, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Use industrial maintenance skills to diagnose equipment failures quickly and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for troubleshooting electrical systems and conducting electrical maintenance. Operate field service equipment including scissor lifts and other industrial tools safely to access hard-to-reach areas. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking repairs and inspections. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and reading schematics. Certified or experienced in welding techniques such as stick welding; familiarity with precision measuring instruments like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical blueprint reading, low voltage/ high voltage electrical systems, and industrial electrician experience is highly desirable. Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely; comfortable working at heights when necessary. Strong analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English; customer service orientation is a plus for field service tasks. Pay:
$25.87 - $30.76 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
