Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Millwright/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise in welding, mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting will be essential to keep our production processes running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement and safety. Responsibilities Install, align, and assemble machinery using precision measuring instruments and schematics, ensuring all components meet engineering specifications. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Conduct welding operations utilizing welding techniques to repair or fabricate parts as needed. Diagnose and repair electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and HVAC/R components. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history. Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and other complex machinery issues. Maintain a strong focus on safety standards while performing all maintenance activities; participate in safety training sessions regularly. Provide excellent customer service by supporting internal teams with technical assistance and timely repairs. Experience Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a solid understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, welding, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management is highly desirable. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; relevant certifications are preferred. Experience with HVAC/R systems and electrical maintenance is a plus. Strong analysis skills combined with mechanical knowledge to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly.
