Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Field Equipment Installer (millwright), where you will play a vital role in the installation of Industrial Recycling Systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and construction expertise to ensure seamless setup and operation of equipment that keeps projects moving forward. Duties Install and assemble equipment according to technical specifications and blueprint plans and as directed by the Field Supervisor Interpret construction drawings, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure precise installation of equipment and fixtures Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment safely and effectively during installation processes Conduct inspections of installed equipment to verify proper functioning and adherence to safety standards Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed equipment to minimize downtime Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to ensure precise placement of materials and fixtures Requirements Proven experience in industrial equipment installation or related fieldwork with a strong understanding of mechanical installation. Hands-on experience with industrial work, including ductwork, plumbing, or similar trades Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely on construction sites. Must have your own basic tool set (wrenches, impacts, sockets, screwdrivers, etc) Knowledge of dimensional measurements and following blueprint specifications Experience with construction site safety protocols and ladder use for elevated installations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients Familiarity with industrial HVAC or blowpipe systems a plus.
