Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Pipefitter/Plumber or Millwright to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, bolting up, and maintaining HPP aquatherm piping system. Your expertise in pipefitting, and blueprint interpretation will ensure that all systems meet strict safety standards and industry codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse project, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and craftsmanship to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install piping systems according to specifications. Fabricate pipe assemblies using various techniques including cutting, threading, Install pipe systems for chilled water, pipelines, and other mechanical applications while adhering to ASME codes & standards and NFPA regulations. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform pipe threading, assembly, rigging, and installation tasks on construction sites or data centers Maintain compliance with safety regulations by following established safety protocols during all phases of work; conduct inspections for hazards related to pipefitting activities. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal operation; troubleshoot issues using basic math skills and technical schematics. Collaborate with team members on construction plans and site logistics to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high safety standards. Skills Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge of pipe fabrication processes including threading, tube bending, soldering, assembly, and installation. Skilled in using hand tools such as calipers, pipe cutters, tube benders, and power tools with a focus on safety Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations; experience reading schematics is essential. Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence; capable of rigging and working at heights if required.
