Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Piping/Plumbing/Millwright Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping and plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical skills while contributing to large-scale building and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Assist with the installation and assembly of piping, plumbing, and millwright components following blueprints and technical drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipe fitting, system maintenance, and troubleshooting issues on-site Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment Support the use of power tools with proper safety procedures for cutting, grinding, welding, and pipe threading Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling or maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines Requirements Prior construction experience with a focus on plumbing or millwright work preferred Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, pipe installation, and mechanical components Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, safety protocols, and power tool safety practices Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Strong mechanical knowledge combined with handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining compliance with building codes Ability to work effectively at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications Join our team if you're eager to build your career in construction while working on impactful projects!
