WASTE WATER MAINTENANCE TECHINICIAN
Resume Required for this position. Applicants will not be considered without a resume. Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform building maintenance duties and specific tasks such as repairing conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulic systems as assigned by the supervisor
- Preventive maintenance and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshot machinery quickly and effectively
- Preventive maintenance and repairs to wastewater equipment, such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps
- Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner
- Be experienced and knowledgeable in high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders and air compressors. Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig) is a plus.
- Day-to-day maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Document and maintain "Standard Operating Procedures" for site-specific technologies in use at the facility.
- Maintain compliance with discharge permit
- Performing routine inspections, lubricating machinery, changing fluids, and testing equipment to prevent failures before happens.
- Communicate with wastewater management and personnel to diagnose problems and to determine potential mechanical problems Qualifications
- Climbing, including ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines, and tools.
- Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
- General mathematics ability required to perform job
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
- Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or below freezing temperatures
- Previous maintenance experience with (Preferred)
- PLC
- Electrical
- Multi Meter
- SAP EOE, including disability/vets
