Job Description
Supports maintenance operations by performing mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs. Assists mechanics, electricians, and mobile technicians in maintaining plant machinery, equipment, and facilities to meet production needs in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. High level of safety and quality Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.) Good problem-solving skills Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge
- Preferred Forklift experience
- Preferred Computer Software
- Preferred Warehouse experience
- Preferred Strong industrial maintenance work experience at an OSHA or MSHA facility Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in maintenance dept at an operational plant Be willing to be an on-call and/or work 12 hour rotating shift schedule unless otherwise specified Required to have welding, torch cutting, plasma cutting test or proven experience in these fields High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3-5 years of experience operating machinery is preferred.
