- Position Overview
- We are seeking experienced Millwrights to join a growing team specializing in agricultural and industrial construction projects across the country.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, dismantling, relocating, and maintaining grain handling and conveying equipment within grain elevators, processing facilities, and ethanol plants. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving conveyor systems, grain elevators, motors, bearings, piping, bagging systems, steel structures, and other industrial equipment. Candidates who enjoy hands-on mechanical work, travel, and challenging industrial environments will thrive in this role.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Install, dismantle, and relocate grain handling and conveying equipment.
+ Assemble and erect steel structures and mechanical components.
+ Install and align conveyors, bagging systems, motors, bearings, gears, and flow meters.
+ Perform rigging operations to safely move and position equipment and machinery.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
+ Complete equipment installation, leveling, anchoring, and alignment to precise tolerances.
+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
+ Assist with pipe fitting, piping installation, and hydraulic system work.
+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete projects.
+ Perform stick, MIG, and basic TIG welding as needed.
+ Work safely at heights and in both indoor and outdoor environments.
+ Collaborate with crew members, foremen, and superintendents to complete projects efficiently.
+ Follow all safety regulations and job site procedures.
- Required Qualifications
- + Minimum of 2 years of millwright, industrial maintenance, mechanical installation, or related experience.
+ Experience installing and maintaining conveyor systems and industrial equipment.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Experience with rigging and equipment installation.
+ Basic welding experience, including stick and MIG welding.
+ Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.
+ Willingness to travel 100% of the time on a 10-days-on, 4-days-off schedule.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Experience in grain elevators, agricultural processing facilities, ethanol plants, or other industrial environments. + TIG welding and fabrication experience. + Knowledge of hydraulics, piping systems, and pipe fitting. + Preventative maintenance experience. + Strong commitment to workplace safety. + Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Schedule & Travel
- + •100% travel required•+ •10 days on / 4 days off rotation•+ Typical schedule: •7:00 AM - 5:00 PM•+ Additional hours and overtime available based on project demands •Work Environment•Projects are completed in grain elevators, ethanol plants, agricultural processing facilities, and other industrial settings.
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors and often involves climbing, working at heights, lifting materials, operating equipment, and working around active industrial systems. Employees typically work in crews of 4-5 people led by a foreman or superintendent.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $25.
00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
