We are looking for a Lead HVAC Installer to join our install team. Position Summary As an Excavation Install Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, learning the ins and outs of underground utility work and how to safely operate the equipment that gets the job done. Key Responsibilities Assist with trenching, digging, grading, and backfilling for utility installations Support installation of underground piping, conduits, and drainage systems under supervision Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for daily job assignments Learn proper use of excavation equipment, hand tools, and safety gear Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on job sites Perform manual labor tasks such as shoveling, lifting, compacting, and hauling materials Communicate effectively with crew leads and supervisors about work activities We Offer Weekly pay with incentives and bonuses 401(k) retirement with company match Holiday pay, vacation pay, & paid time off Company events & parties Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, & long and short-term disability insurance Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent required Experience Previous experience in construction, excavation, or related trades preferred but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn excavation techniques Licenses/Certifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (CDL a plus) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious Physical Demands and Conditions Lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain Work Environment/Travel Field-based role requiring daily travel to residential and commercial job sites May require overtime, evening, or weekend work depending on project schedules Ability to pass background check and drug screeninBenefits
