Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Millwright to join our metal fabrication team. We are in need of a team member specifically troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and precision measurement will keep our production lines running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, technical excellence, and teamwork are prioritized. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical systems. Duties Install, align, assemble, and disassemble machinery using schematics and technical manuals with precision. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using analysis skills, schematics, and testing instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Repair or replace worn or damaged parts utilizing welding skills, including <

> welding techniques when necessary. Adjust machinery components—hydraulics, pneumatics, belts—and calibrate systems for optimal performance. Operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or components. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. Collaborate with electrical teams on high voltage and low voltage electrical repairs and modifications. Read and interpret schematics for industrial electrical systems, HVAC/R units, and mechanical assemblies. Support technical sales teams by providing expert advice on machinery specifications and maintenance needs when required. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial mechanics. Proficiency in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and the use of precision measuring instruments for alignment and calibration. Skilled in welding techniques specific to <

> welding standards for repair or fabrication tasks. Ability to read schematics accurately and perform analysis using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Experience with CMMS software for scheduling maintenance tasks and recording work history. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including high voltage and low voltage systems. Valid certification in industrial maintenance or mechanical trades; military background is a plus for discipline and technical aptitude. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors during field service operations. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
