Millwright Manager STATUS:
Non-exempt
SALARY RANGE
$17-$22/hour depending on experience
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Works closely on a millwright crew to perform repairs and maintenance at grain and agronomy facilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs maintenance and repairs of equipment as requested Helps maintain an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance Responsible for housekeeping of the shop and on-site work areas
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1 or more years of related work experience Required skills include fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, painting Ability to follow installation/assembly instructions Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record Frequently exposed or required to: Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) Noisy conditions Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures Will be required climb ladders to work at varying heights - Grain legs, bins, tanks Confined spaces Lift 51-70 pounds Required to push heavy objects Ability to work extended hours in peak season.
