Position Summary We are seeking a Crane Service Technician to join our Illinois-based Field Service Team. This hands-on role is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead crane systems and related lifting equipment at customer facilities throughout the Peoria area and surrounding region. What You'll Do Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair overhead crane systems, jib cranes, hoists, and related material handling equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize customer downtime. Conduct periodic inspections of cranes, hoists, and lifting devices. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, service manuals, and work orders. Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, forklifts, and rigging equipment to complete service work. Document inspection and repair findings and communicate recommendations to customers and management. Follow OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company procedures at all times.
