Job Overview Join our dynamic Utility & Construction team, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the installation and maintenance of critical utility infrastructure. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors on diverse construction sites. Duties Could operate heavy machinery including excavators,bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment to assist in construction and utility installation projects Perform underground utility locating and pipeline work to ensure accurate placement and safety compliance Conduct fiber pulling and power tool operations for various utility systems Use hand tools and power tools for equipment maintenance, repairs, and construction tasks while adhering to safety protocols Climb ladders and scaffolding safely to access elevated work areas; perform rigging and heavy lifting as needed Engage in manual handling activities including lifting heavy materials and equipment during construction or maintenance projects Maintain equipment through routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation Requirements Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and performing equipment maintenance Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor environments under various weather conditions Excellent climbing skills with the ability to work at heights; comfortable using ladders.
