Full-Time, 1st Shift Position Overview Drive & Shine is seeking an experienced Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance and construction team. This is a hands-on position responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving mechanical equipment across our Drive & Shine locations and new construction projects. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, understands how industrial equipment works, and can diagnose a problem, determine the root cause, and make the repair without needing constant direction. This position will work on a variety of industrial equipment, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, chains, belts, pulleys, pumps, and other mechanical systems. Approximately 50% travel should be expected to support Drive & Shine locations and construction projects throughout the region. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Install, align, and service motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, sprockets, pulleys, chains, and conveyor systems Install, repair, track, and align conveyor systems Diagnose mechanical failures and identify root causes Replace bearings, seals, chains, belts, couplings, and other mechanical components Tear down, inspect, rebuild, and reinstall equipment Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential equipment failures before they result in downtime Fabricate and modify brackets, guards, supports, platforms, and other equipment components Perform basic MIG welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, layouts, and schematics Use precision measuring, alignment, and layout tools Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment Support equipment installations for new Drive & Shine locations Work alongside electrical, controls, maintenance, and construction teams to complete projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout practices Travel to Drive & Shine locations and new construction projects as needed Respond to equipment issues and help minimize operational downtime Qualifications Previous experience as a Millwright, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, motors, chains, belts, shafts, and other mechanical equipment Experience with equipment installation, alignment, and preventative maintenance Welding and fabrication experience preferred Ability to safely operate grinders, saws, drills, impacts, welders, and other industrial tools Ability to accurately measure, lay out, and install mechanical equipment Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics Comfortable working around industrial electrical and automated equipment Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Willing and able to travel up to 50% Must provide your own daily-use hand tools; specialty tools and equipment are provided Tool purchase assistance program available Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs Ability to climb ladders and work from lifts and elevated platforms Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in various positions for extended periods Ability to work in wet, hot, cold, and outdoor environments Ability to work around operating machinery, construction equipment, and industrial environments Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical equipment Specialized Staffing Solutions, LLC is an equal-opportunity employer.
