Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Millwright to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties Install, align, dismantle, and assemble machinery using precision measuring instruments and welding techniques, including welding standards. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, electrical diagnostics tools (including ammeters and ohmmeters), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Diagnose complex mechanical issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, low voltage electrical systems, and industrial mechanics to identify root causes efficiently. Repair or replace faulty components with a focus on safety, quality, and durability; perform welding repairs as needed. Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems and analyzing schematics to optimize machinery performance. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including electrical system analysis and electrical maintenance techniques. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, micrometers, and other mechanical tools. Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents accurately. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics troubleshooting, and equipment repair within an industrial setting. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) is a plus for maintaining climate control equipment. Valid certification or experience with welding standards; ability to operate scissor lifts safely. Strong customer service mindset with excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues quickly and effectively. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking; experience with industrial electrician practices is advantageous. Good communication skills in English to ensure clear documentation and teamwork across departments.
