Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician (only candidates with 5 years industrial maintenance experience will be considered)
General Description:
As the maintenance technician your primary function will be to work closely with our maintenance manager to troubleshoot and maintain all equipment located in the facility.Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance procedures
- Prepare materials consumed in the foundry
- Assist and/or manage task assigned by maintenance manager
- Perform repairs on a diverse range of industrial equipment including core machines, mold machines, conveyor & hopper systems, induction furnaces, sand muller, and blast machine
- Work on projects to improve the facility, equipment, and processes. These projects may occur during production periods or maintenance turnaround
- Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, etc.
Qualifications:
Required- 5 years industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical background
- Welding and fabricating experience
- Electrical experience
- Pneumatic experience
- Plumbing knowledge
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Experience with lock out tag out procedures
- Forklift and scissor lift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis with no concern of injury
- Ability to work in a hot environment during the summer months
- Ability to work on feet throughout shift
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Ability to work from heights Preferred
- Heavy industrial manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with 3 phase electrical troubleshooting
