Industrial Maintenance Technician (only candidates with 5 years industrial maintenance experience will be considered)

General Description:

As the maintenance technician your primary function will be to work closely with our maintenance manager to troubleshoot and maintain all equipment located in the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance procedures
• Prepare materials consumed in the foundry
• Assist and/or manage task assigned by maintenance manager
• Perform repairs on a diverse range of industrial equipment including core machines, mold machines, conveyor & hopper systems, induction furnaces, sand muller, and blast machine
• Work on projects to improve the facility, equipment, and processes. These projects may occur during production periods or maintenance turnaround
• Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, etc.

)

Qualifications:

Required

• 5 years industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical background
• Welding and fabricating experience
• Electrical experience
• Pneumatic experience
• Plumbing knowledge
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Experience with lock out tag out procedures
• Forklift and scissor lift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis with no concern of injury
• Ability to work in a hot environment during the summer months
• Ability to work on feet throughout shift
• Ability to wear required PPE
• Ability to work from heights Preferred
• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with 3 phase electrical troubleshooting

Full-Time Hourly Wage Rates:

$25.00 to $33.00 based upon qualifications and experience, plus $2.00/hr night shift differential
