MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE
Maintenance repairs and maintains machinery and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Repair and maintain machinery and equipment Install new machinery and equipment Maintain repair logs and preventative maintenance records Assess machines regularly to identify damage and schedule needed repairs Train machine operators in correct lock-out/tag-out and equipment safety procedures Travel when needed to other branches, ensuring safe and proper running of equipment Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment per the system-generated schedule Attend off-site training on new equipment as needed Maintain property and grounds Review and respond to operator repair requests
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and safe equipment operating practices Possess basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude Ability to keep records Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to operate hand and power tools Ability to use and read precision measuring instruments and electrical meters Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work high above ground if necessary Welding skills Ability to operate an automobile and the possession of a valid driver's license Ability to respond to calls after hours and travel High school diploma and/or equivalent experience
