Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Industrial Installation Technician to join our Field Team. This is a hands-on, travel-based role focused on the installation, movement, alignment, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment and structural systems at customer job sites. You'll work alongside skilled technicians on a variety of projects involving cranes, mezzanines, machinery, and racking.

What You'll Do Installation:

Perform rigging, lifting, positioning, and assembly of machinery, cranes, racks, mezzanines, and Portafab systems.

Precision Alignment:

Align, level, anchor, and assemble structural components to exact technical specifications.

Blueprints:

Read and accurately interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and work orders.

Tool Operation:

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and material handling machinery.

Safety & Teamwork:

Maintain a clean, organized work environment in strict compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

5+ years of industrial installation, millwrighting, mechanical assembly, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

Experience with rigging, machinery moving, alignment, and blueprint reading. Welding, fabrication, or electrical troubleshooting is a major plus.

Licensing:

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Mindset:

Strong mechanical aptitude, reliable work ethic, and a team-first attitude.

Schedule & Travel Expectations Hours:

Full-time hourly role requiring flexibility for overtime, early starts, extended shifts, evenings, and weekends.

Travel:

Approximately 75% travel, primarily within Kentucky and surrounding states. Includes mostly day travel and some overnight stays. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods. Comfortable working in diverse industrial environments, both indoors and outdoors. Why Join the S&K Field Team? Overtime Opportunities:

Consistent 40-60 hour work weeks with automatic time-and-a-half pay on weekends.

Balanced Travel:

We offer a healthy mix of local and travel work. You will frequently have regional projects that get you home the same day, combined with some out-of-town assignments that require overnight stays.

Full Travel Support:

For all out-of-town projects, your hotel accommodations and daily per diem are fully covered by the company.

$30.00
