Industrial Maintenance Technician / Welder Starting pay: $20 per hour Tiger Labor & Staffing is hiring a hands-on maintenance technician for a material processing facility. We're looking for someone with mechanical repair experience and welding skills who is willing to get dirty and handle everyday equipment upkeep. You'll work under an experienced leadman, helping maintain and repair machinery used for pumping, separating, shredding, and baling materials.

Job duties:

Grease equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance. Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and needed repairs. Troubleshoot and repair pumps and other mechanical equipment. Weld and repair cracked or damaged machine frames and components. Help fabricate brackets, supports, and equipment modifications. Assist the leadman with repairs, improvements, and general maintenance tasks. Follow safety procedures, including equipment shutdown and lockout requirements. What we're looking for: Hands-on experience repairing industrial, agricultural, construction, or similar equipment. Welding experience sufficient to perform equipment repairs. Ability to use common hand tools and power tools. Willingness to handle routine greasing, cleanup, and upkeep along with more involved repairs. Dependable attendance, sound judgment, and the ability to follow the leadman's direction.

Working conditions:

This is a physically demanding industrial environment with large, loud machinery. Work takes place outdoors and in covered areas, with exposure to summer heat, winter cold, dirt, and wet conditions. This a "temp-to-hire" placement through Tiger Labor & Staffing. You will not be eligible for the client's benefits until if and when you are hired on by the client after the waiting period.
