Job Summary Build a Career in Reliability — Not Just Another Maintenance Job Traction Engineering is hiring entry-level technicians who want to move beyond basic maintenance and build a long-term career in equipment reliability, vibration analysis, and predictive maintenance. If you have mechanical experience—or just strong aptitude—we will train you into a certified vibration analyst (CAT
I / CAT II
) and put you on a clear technical career path. Duties Collect vibration and condition monitoring data on pumps, motors, and rotating equipment Assist in diagnosing equipment issues before failures occur Work directly in petrochemical and industrial facilities Learn reliability tools, software, and reporting methods Support senior analysts and engineers in the field Follow strict safety and site compliance standards Skills Vibration experience not required but preferred.
We are looking for:
0-3 years of experience in any of the following: Mechanical technician / maintenance Industrial, electrical, or instrumentation work Diesel / automotive technician Millwright or helper roles OR recent graduate from: ITI Technical College
BRCC / RPCC
(Process Tech or Industrial Maintenance) Similar technical program You should have: Strong mechanical aptitude Willingness to learn and be trained Comfort working in industrial environments Valid driver's license (TWIC is a plus or ability to obtain) Expected hours: 40.0 per week
