Millwright Requirements:

3-4+ years of previous experience as a millwright or with plant equipment required Heavy manufacturing experience is a MUST Thorough knowledge of manufacturing, tool design, fabrication methods and processes. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, electrical applications and metal fabrication Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints Be able to pass a basic mechanical assessment test

Millwright Responsibilities:

Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics involved in the manufacturing process Undertake preventative maintenance program for equipment Competent in all type bearing installations and alignments Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up and repair of equipment and machinery Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
