Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Senior Lead Mechanic located at our Montgomery County Yardwaste facility in Dickerson, MD. This position performs installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment used for a variety of environmental projects.

Estimated Pay Range:

$70,193.76 - $96,532.80

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or possession of GED equivalency certificate and eight years experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted for experience. Education experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to three years of the required experience. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. Appointment to some sites may require Commercial Driver's License with specific endorsements. This position will be open until filled.
