Job Description
Job Summary We are a food truck and concession trailer manufacturing and repair company looking for a dependable, hands-on Fabrication & Installation Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with their hands and knows how to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment . You do not need previous food truck experience. If you have experience in construction, fabrication, remodeling, RV/trailer work, mechanical work, equipment installation, or a similar hands-on trade, we encourage you to apply. The most important thing is that you know how to measure, cut, drill, fasten, assemble, install, and build things properly and are willing to learn. Responsibilities Build, modify, and repair food trucks and concession trailers Measure, cut, drill, screw, fasten, and assemble different materials Cut and install wood, plywood, stainless steel, aluminum, sheet metal, and wall panels Use drills, impact drivers, grinders, circular saws, table/panel saws, metal-cutting tools, and other shop equipment Install walls, ceilings, flooring, countertops, shelving, doors, and other interior components Install stainless steel panels and other protective wall materials Install and secure commercial kitchen equipment Install sinks, water tanks, pumps, plumbing components, and related equipment Assist with electrical wiring, outlets, lighting, switches, and other electrical components Assist with propane/gas piping and equipment connections Perform general fabrication, assembly, repair, and installation work Keep the work area organized and use tools and equipment safely Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: Construction or remodeling Carpentry or woodworking Metal or sheet-metal fabrication Stainless steel installation RV or trailer repair Plumbing Electrical work Propane/gas piping Welding Automotive or mechanical work Commercial kitchen equipment installation You do not need experience in all of these areas. Food truck experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who already has good hands-on skills, knows how to work safely with tools, can take accurate measurements, and is willing to learn. What We're Looking For Dependable and able to show up to work on time Comfortable using hand and power tools Able to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements Able to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail Willing to learn different parts of food truck and trailer construction Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work in a shop environment Able to lift and move materials and equipment when needed Pay is based on experience and skill level.
