Millwright experience, welding/fabrication skills, industrial equipment maintenance, rigging experienceWe are seeking an experiencedIndustrial Maintenance Millwrightto join a fast-paced, safety-oriented foundry operation in Muskegon, MI. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and production efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and installing a wide variety of plant equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with welding and fabrication, and the ability to work independently in an industrial manufacturing environment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inspections of plant machinery including bearings, gear reducers, belts, couplings, and alignment systems.

Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain industrial equipment and machinery.

Maintain shot blast equipment, dust collection systems, and associated foundry equipment.

Install, modify, and commission new equipment as required.

Perform building maintenance and facility repairs as needed.

Fabricate replacement parts and equipment components using steel or wood from drawings and specifications.

Perform welding, layout work, torch cutting, and general metal fabrication.

Repair and maintain yard cranes (mechanical systems only).Complete rigging tasks and assist with moving and positioning heavy equipment.

Accurately complete maintenance records, work orders, and inspection checklists.

Follow all safety procedures, IATF16949 standards, and
ISO14001
work instructions.

QualificationsExperience as a Millwright, Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar role.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills on industrial production equipment.

Experience with bearings, gearboxes, belts, couplings, alignment, and rotating equipment.

Welding, fabrication, layout, and torch-cutting experience.

Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and maintenance instructions.

Experience with equipment installation, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance programs.

Knowledge of rigging practices and safe material handling procedures.

Basic computer skills for work order entry and maintenance documentation.

Ability to obtain forklift and/or man-lift certifications.

Must provide personal hand tools.
