Job Description

Position Overview Taldeco is looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians / Millwrights for a manufacturing facility in Pontiac, MI. This is a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position working on industrial production equipment. We are looking for candidates with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in areas such as electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance Work on industrial furnaces, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, loaders, and related equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Inspect and repair motors, panels, fuses, limit switches, and other electrical components Perform welding, fabrication, grinding, drilling, and equipment modifications Diagnose equipment failures and complete necessary repairs Assist with PLC and controls troubleshooting Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation Follow proper lockout/tagout and plant safety procedures Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience preferred Experience with motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, or similar equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus Ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts preferred Must have own tools Must be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed Work Environment This is a heavy industrial heat-treating environment. Candidates should be comfortable working around high-temperature equipment in conditions that can be hot, dirty, and loud. This is a hands-on maintenance role and will require working directly around industrial furnaces and production machinery. Compensation $25

•40/hour, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and paid holidays after applicable waiting periods.
