Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Industrial Maintenance Opportunity in Westland, MI The Advance Group has partnered with a leading foundry and heavy industrial manufacturing facility in Westland, MI to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and continuous operations. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician, you will: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Maintain and repair foundry and production equipment including furnaces, conveyors, molding machines, compressors, pumps, and dust collection systems Diagnose equipment issues and reduce production downtime Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings Conduct inspections and perform equipment adjustments or repairs Install, align, and replace machine components as needed Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately Work closely with production teams to support uptime and efficiency Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Requirements for Maintenance Technician Industrial maintenance experience required Foundry or heavy manufacturing experience preferred Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and in a team environmentSchedule & Pay Monday-Friday:
6:00 AM- 2:30 PM Voluntary Saturday overtime available Pay rate: $17.50/hr
