What You'll Do As a House Mechanic/Millwright, you'll play an important role in keeping manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Your work will include:

Inspecting, replacing, aligning, balancing, installing, and refurbishing equipment Troubleshooting mechanical equipment and identifying opportunities to improve performance Working closely with Production to understand equipment operation and operating conditions Performing preventative and corrective maintenance Welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering various materials Welding carbon steel using SMAW and GMAW processes Welding stainless steel using SMAW Helping keep critical manufacturing equipment running safely and reliably

Pay & Advancement Starting Pay:

$33.78/hour New employees start at Level 2 ($33.78/hr) and work through a structured skills checklist. Once completed, typically within 1-18 months , employees advance to Level 1 at $38.31/hour . That's a $4.53/hour increase , plus guaranteed annual pay increases . Schedule The position follows a rotating 12-hour schedule: Week 1: Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-8 PM Week 2: Friday-Monday, 8 PM-8 AM Week 3: Friday-Sunday, 8 AM-8 PM Week 4: Tuesday-Thursday, 8 PM-8 AM What We're Looking For Candidates should have one of the following: 2-year technical degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Design, Machinist/Toolmaker, or a related field plus 2 years of full-time industrial millwright experience Completion of a state-approved millwright apprenticeship plus 2 years of full-time industrial millwright experience High school diploma/GED plus 5 consecutive years of full-time industrial millwright experience Candidates will also complete millwright, welding, and basic-skills testing, along with a safety screening.
