Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities & Equipment Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on maintaining building systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance. You will handle both preventative maintenance and urgent repairs across facilities and machinery, working closely with operations to minimize downtime and keep production running. Responsibilities Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on facility systems and production equipment Support building needs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, walls, floors, and roofing Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address repair needs Complete general trades work such as carpentry, painting, and basic structural repairs Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems Maintain and service equipment (calibration, oil changes, component replacements, line changes) Work from blueprints, drawings, and technical sketches to complete repairs and installations Partner with facilities and operations teams to ensure minimal disruption to production
Requirements:
Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Comfortable working with a range of tools, equipment, and machinery Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent issues Preventative maintenance and equipment inspections are completed on time Equipment downtime is minimized through proactive maintenance and quick response to issues
