Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on all machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with equipment safety procedures. Utilize utility locating tools to identify underground utilities before excavation, preventing damage and ensuring safety. Assist with construction site setup, including site grading and preparing work zones for ongoing construction activities. Follow federal construction safety regulations and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members on construction utility work projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and water trucks in a construction setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on construction machinery. Familiarity with construction utility work, including sewer installation and excavation techniques. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures is essential. Valid driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and technical diagrams related to utility installation projects.
