This role is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of line equipment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards. The Set-Up Mechanic will play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality operations.Essential Functions:
Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing line machines according to product batch records. Conduct routine mechanical inspections and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs on production and/or line equipment. Perform changeovers between different products or formats efficiently to minimize downtime. Perform track and trace activities as required on packaging equipment. Maintain Lockout & Tagout system. Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all setups, maintenance, adjustments, and downtime. Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of manufacturing equipment and room equipment. Assist other maintenance staff in completing special projects or maintenance work as needed. Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).Additional Responsibilities:

High School or GED•Required Experience:
2 years or more in Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, maintenance repairSkills:
Attention to detail.- Intermediate Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding terminology of the job.
- Intermediate Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal procedures or instructions
- Intermediate Reading comprehension
- Intermediate Good troubleshooting
- Intermediate Able to use/operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, testers, and material handling equipment to perform job efficiently.
