Duties include but are not limited to equipment moving & installations, plumbing, welding, fabrication, equipment repairs, and industrial maintenance. The ability to continually lift loads up to 100 lbs. and frequently working in aerial lifts at elevated heights is a requirement of the position. All candidates must possess a valid state driver's license and submit to a background check and drug testing. OSHA 30 hour certification card must be completed and presented upon your start date.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Perform duties within a team environment as directed by the work order descriptions and daily directives from the Field Supervisor.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, rigging and mechanical assembly on offsite locations.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery on offsite locations with limited supervision
• Knowledge and skills to troubleshoot mechanical problems on equipment and machinery
• Provide assistance in teaching and guiding welder's helpers to gain and improve their job skills
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

PUNCTUALITY

- must have the ability to arrive to work on time

• Current and valid OSHA 30 hour certification completion card
• Valid Driver's License
• Efficient operation and certification of all man-lift and forklift equipment
• Intermediate welding skills in M.I.G. & stick welding processes
• Intermediate mechanical and fabrication knowledge/background
• Intermediate knowledge of machinery and equipment moving with hoists, dollies, skates and trucks
• Intermediate to advanced T.I.G. welding skills
• Intermediate skills in fabrication
• Intermediate skills in layout and design
• Intermediate knowledge of crane hand signals
• Intermediate knowledge of rigging and capacities
• Intermediate personnel and daily project management skills
• Ability to continually lift up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently work at heights

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial maintenance, welding and fabrication, and jobsite experience
• High School Diploma, or G.

E.D. highly preferred.
