Millwright (Afternoon/ Night Shift) Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $38 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Millwright Decision making Blueprint reading Productivity software Full Job Description CSI Sands (N.E.) operates open pit silica mines and run wet and dry process plants to produce industrial and quality grade sand for the market. We are currently searching for a Millwright to complement our team at our site in Buffalo, NY. This position will report to the Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Buffalo, NY but will be required to travel to our Cleveland, OH plant as part of the job.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular and routine maintenance on all plant and mining equipment. Inspect, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and do the necessary maintenance and repairs of equipment which includes conveyors, pumps, screens, cyclones, hydrosizers, clarifiers, dryer, baghouse, etc. Demonstrate thorough knowledge and principles to install, dismantle, reassemble, replace, repair, and adjust parts and components of equipment, as assigned. Mentor CSI Millwright Apprentices through the professional development
Skills and Requirements:
Minimum 2 years solid experience as a Millwright. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. Must have own tools and vehicle. Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Ability to organize, plan daily tasks, and make decisions with minimal supervision. Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office suite. Must have common core certificates for a mining operation environment.
