Job Description
About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to transport materials. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment functionality. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow. Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to minimize risks. Adapt to various site conditions and assist with general labor as needed. What Are We Looking For Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures. Capability to work in challenging environmental conditions. Effective communication skills and attention to detail. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
