Automated Equipment Mechanic Eastman Kodak Company United States, York, Rochester 343 State Street (Show on map) Aug 17, 2026 Responsibilities We are looking for an Automated Equipment Mechanic (AEM) to support the Advanced Materials and Chemicals Division in Rochester, NY.
Responsibilities:
  • AEM skilled trade to provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install, and make improvements to chemical processing equipment and machinery (includes pneumatics, hydraulics, controls (PLC's), and electrical components)
  • Ability to fabricate to exact tolerances using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment
  • Some experience or expertise in piping, HVAC equipment and controls
  • Ability to achieve a high level of expertise of chemical process equipment for effective troubleshooting and equipment repair
  • Execute preventive maintenance program
  • Calibrate, alignment and make adjustments with test equipment and production equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools Qualifications include:
  • HS diploma
  • Formal instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and/or AEM training and demonstrated experience
  • Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans (bearings, sheaves), alignment
  • Demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Able to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings
  • Able to read PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Excellent safety record

  • Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out
  • Understanding of electrical codes for hazardous environments (flammable liquids)
  • Good communication skills

Minimum Education Level and Experience:
4-year schooling and Journeyman or 7 plus years of demonstrated experience
Work Schedule:
  • Work schedule will be on days 6am to 230PM and Shifts as needed
