Our Reliability Technicians support the reliability area with equipment and maintenance tasks. You will play a crucial role in moving material that builds the future!

Monday - Friday, 2:45 pm - 10:45 pm, with overtime as required

What You Will Do:
Maintenance:
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, troubleshoots various production lines. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Clean and lubricate bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Basic electrical troubleshooting and fabrication. Assists with repairs and preventive maintenance. Analyze work processes and equipment to make recommendations for improved processes and efficiencies.
Maintain Safety:
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance on equipment and building. Perform lock-out tag-out as an authorized associate to support maintenance area with non-routine or major repairs, as needed. Maintain a safe work environment by practicing good work habits, housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines. Wear all proper protective equipment as required at work and in accordance with Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
Support Team Efforts:
Work collaboratively with team to meet goals, contribute to housekeeping procedures, and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
Who We Are Looking For:
Experience:
Exposure to maintenance, repair and installation of industrial equipment in trades such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or welding. Experience using various tools, including basic hand tools, power tools and welding equipment, among others.
Skills :
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes & procedures, and effective communication skills. Excellent communication skills with management and co-workers.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.
Additional Details:
Access to their own tools and toolbox, including wrenches up to 1", Willingness to learn and expand knowledge base and experience, Flexible schedule; Ability to travel occasionally.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Five years of maintenance or related experience. Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and welding. Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and welding. Knowledge of electronics, electrical power, and programmable logic control (PLC). Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings (blueprints, schematics, CAD, technical drawings). Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing flat-rolled steel equipment (i.e. slitter, cut-to-length line), general machinery, and lift trucks is a plus. Experience in MS Office products and windows-based computer applications.
