Industrial Maintenance Technician Location:
Euclid, Ohio Shift:
1st (5am-1pm) OR 3rd (9pm - 5am) ($1.50 shift diff) Job Description As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing emergency repairs during production and executing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Your role will include following a preventive maintenance schedule, handling 480v 3-phase electrical wiring, and conducting industrial machine repairs and troubleshooting, primarily focusing on rolling machines. Additionally, you will read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to conduct necessary maintenance and service. Responsibilities Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties. Detect and report faulty or unsafe operations or processes to proper supervision. Comply with and enforce all safety regulations. Maintain clean and orderly work areas. Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System. Essential Skills Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience. Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of pneumatics and hydraulics. Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting of equipment up to 480-volt, 3-phase, and troubleshooting with a multimeter. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Working knowledge of safety protocols such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, and OSHA regulations. Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment utilizing hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems. Ability to use hand and electrical tools and to read technical manuals and drawings. Capability to operate man lifts and lift trucks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with conveyor maintenance, automation, and welding. Why Work Here? We offer three shifts:
1st shift (5am-1pm), 2nd shift (1pm-9pm), and 3rd shift (9pm-5am) with a $1.50 shift differential. A casual dress code with gym shoes and eye protection is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
