Industrial Millwright Location:
Toledo, OH Pay:
$31.15/hour starting | Increases at 6 months and 12 months
Schedule:
12-Hour Swing Shift | Rotating Days/Nights Every 2 Weeks Join a Leading Manufacturing Team We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright to perform highly skilled mechanical maintenance, equipment installation, repairs, alignments, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades professional looking for a stable, long-term career. Responsibilities Erect, assemble, repair, and maintain industrial machinery including conveyors, drives, speed reducers, robots, balers, air compressors, and vacuum pumps Install and replace sprockets, roller chains, gears, bearings, and other drive components Perform precision alignment of shafts, couplings, motors, and related equipment Troubleshoot operating equipment and identify mechanical problems Plan and perform major equipment repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls Make field repairs and equipment modifications to keep production running safely and efficiently Work with engineers, production personnel, and other trades to improve equipment performance Use CMMS systems for maintenance planning and structured reporting Qualifications Skilled Trades Journeyman card or 3-5 years of equivalent, verified experience Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and mechanical drawings Experience with mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, and industrial machinery Knowledge of bearings, gears, chains, couplings, shafts, drives, and mechanical power transmission Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with precision equipment alignment preferred Ability to safely use cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, oil, heat, and machinery Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform overhead work, and work at heights Must be willing to work a 12-hour swing shift rotating between days and nights every two weeks Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
